Spacefaring supplied 30 radomes, plus 10 spares, for BEL's LLLWR — also known as the Aslesha Mk1 Radar — to the Indian Air Force, following a full year of rigorous field trials in extreme high-altitude operational areas and extreme weather conditions, with high wind and heavy snow loading.

Spacefaring has developed and supplied more than 40 radomes for a variety of ground radars currently operational across India, constructed using a lightweight, custom-made GFRP structure and a proprietary low-RF-loss, high-performance fabric.

The radome has been inducted into service after rigorous field trials demonstrating outstanding electromagnetic performance at high frequencies.

Spacefaring has started a new line of revolutionary radome technologies. Our pressurized and lowly-pressurized radome technology offers unsurpassed simplicity, robustness, and predictability — attributes unprecedented in inflatable architecture — capable of withstanding immense snow loads, and is 100% scalable.

Built to suit the unique operating conditions of the Indian Armed Forces, the radome is designed to operate India's Low Level Transportable Radar — derived from the Thales GS-100 Radar — as well as the Ashwini and Rohini radars, at altitudes up to 20,000 ft. There is currently no commercially available radome with the performance characteristics LLTR demands in India's extreme high-altitude areas. Spacefaring is working directly with the Indian Air Force on its design and development.
